experience the gardens again.

Christmas Market 2024 Events 2024
The Chipping Campden Christmas Market will be held on 7th December in the Market Square
and Upper High Street where there will be market stalls selling a variety of Christmas gifts plus hot food and drinks. Inside the Town Hall
there are two floors of stalls offering more Christmas gifts .

Events for 2024
This year offers a range programmes starting with the
Campden Literature Festival in May 2024.
Patrons bookings will open on January 17th and Friends bookings on January 24th. General bookings will open on
February 1st.
The 2024 programme from 6th to 11th May.
Following directly afterwards will be the renowned Annual Chipping Campden Music
Festival from 11th - 25th May 2024 - hosting international artists from across the world.
The programme for the 2024 Music Festival is now available with student lunchtime concerts
following later.

For something completely different, Chipping Campden offers the world famous
Robert Dover's Olimpick Games which will be held on 31st May 2024 (shin-kickers pad up!), this will be followed on Saturday
1st June, 2024 from 5pm by the annual Scuttlebrook Wake (this spectacle runs every year - since 1612).
Chipping Campden Open Gardens Weekend
June 18th to 19th promises to be a great weekend in the beautiful, honey-coloured Cotswolds town of Chipping Campden. There will also be teas and a plant stall. A small fee for the afternoon or for the weekend. Usually over 20 gardens open. See our What's On page for more details.
Of course there is plentiful accommodation, ranging from: hotels, delightful B&Bs, Farms and Self-Catering (holiday lets) Cottages (see lists below).
But please book early as at these times and also at weekends, Chipping Campden and the Cotswolds, with its stunning scenery and country walks is a very popular and modestly priced destination.
Get ready to start celebrating the festive season at the Chipping Campden Christmas Market in December.
The High Street will be closed to traffic all day Saturday with stalls offering an exciting array
of goods and attractions. Food stalls, with festive food and drinks will be in the Market Square and there is an indoor market on both floors
of the Town Hall.
The historic High Street, Market Square and Town Hall will be transformed into a magical wonderland full of enticing stalls offering a variety of arts and crafts, Christmas decorations, festive food, cards, toys and truly original Christmas gifts; everything you need for the perfect Christmas.
The Market opens on Saturday at midday and the celebrations contnue throughout the afternoon until 6pm. (Please note that the market inside the

The Town's Christmas Lights will be switched on at 5:00pm and there will be an appearance by
Father Christmas.
THE BEAUTIFUL SCENERY OF CHIPPING CAMPDEN
This year as with every year, the scenery around Chipping Campden delights visitors to this 'Jewel of the Cotswolds'. From snow scenes, with snowdrops pushing through, followed by bluebells in Springtime in the local woodland. Late spring, early summer sees the beautiful brief period of fields carpetted with poppies.
As summer develops, we look forward to those lazy summer days. There are some fine short walks around the hills surrounding Campden.
Late summmer brings fields of lavender, just a short walk or drive from Chipping Campden town centre.
Autumn sees the fields full of bales of hay and trees and fields turn towards their golden colours.
